Wedding Q&A - September
September Q&A's from Teresa Choaté, Certified Wedding Coordinator!
Wedding Vows, Old Traditions, New Style
Wedding ceremonies are one of the oldest traditions that modern society has kept intact, at the same time, they are also the most customized tradition for many reasons. The religions of the couple, the attendants, the parents, a unity candle and other accoutrements can be tacked onto a ceremony like a corkboard.
The Details are in the Lighting
When designing your ceremony and reception lighting is another element of décor to consider for your event. We consider lighting when designing our homes and office spaces. Restaurants and clubs do so as well to project a certain atmosphere, style and emotion to their patrons. Designing your event should not be any different when it comes to lighting.

Mix It Up: Modern Wedding Registries
Wedding Registries have come a long way from stocking a newlywed’s kitchen. The diverse couples getting married in 2008 are creating new and original ways to receive gifts and necessities from their guests and well-wishers. China is still a very popular wedding gift, but so are Nintendo Wiis. Now couples can open an account for guests to donate money to their favorite charity, or to send them on a honeymoon. Also, the bride doesn’t seem as in charge of choosing the gifts or limiting them to the cupboards. Take a look at the top 10 most registered for items according to Amazon.com
