Wedding looks this year are a mixture of edgy styles and modern takes on retro looks like the beehive. We reached out to the great stylists of One Fine Day in Waxahachie and had them create their 3 favorite wedding looks. They range from the daring to the classics with some curls thrown in for good measure. Thanks to our models, fellow One Fine Day stylists and owner Jamie Nay for being ready for their close up!

“Sleek, Classic Beehive with a modern sleekness
and lots of color contrast,” says stylist Krystal Arena. If you love the retro looks on the wedding runways and on popular TV shows like “Mad Men” then this look is for you. This look has been updates with pinned curls at the bottom instead of a tight french twist. Relaxed swoop bangs frame the face and work great with contrasting highlights.

“Funky, Edgy and good for short hair,”
says stylist Amanda Pogue. This look combines a swooping half-up-half-down look with a whimsical braid woven underneath. The soft bangs on either side of her face are relaxed and fun. Try this look out if you have medium to short length hair and want to try something new!

“Elegant with a Flair,”  says stylist Amanda Pogue
. This look is for the girl who loves the look of a french braid but want more volume and depth in her wedding day look. The look begins with a french braid style that ends in a side tail with small braids wrapping around the sides of the head. A truly unique look that makes a simple french braid look completely new.
