Windows have always been one of the most interesting focal points of a
home. Some have incredible moldings or stained wood casings. Others are
tall and regal with full arch tops. Some have no molding at all, but the
view seen beyond the window is what captures your eye. No matter the
shape or the size, windows are eye catchers and they deserve to be
adorned.
Treating Windows
It seems that most people in Texas suffer from allergies of one type or
another. Some of us never find out what we are allergic to. We try to
pin point the time of year that we are most affected or what we might
have been exposed to when an attack comes on, but sometimes it is just
hard to figure out.
Transforming the Kitchen
I have experienced many cycles in my 30-year design career. When the
economy is flourishing, I find that most of my work is in new
construction. When the economy is sluggish, most of my jobs are in
redecorating and remodeling existing homes. Then there is the cycle of
old versus new. Periodically, younger adults become aware of the rich
history and fine architecture found in much older homes. When that
happens, the older homes are in great demand and at a premium price.

The holidays are just around the corner and I always feel so unprepared. I have great intentions, but I never seem to do the thing I would like to do most—have a party. When you think of a holiday party, you automatically think of beautiful food, perfect decorations and the latest in evening fashions.
