Love Letters
Friday & Saturday, March 5 and 6
8 p.m.
A.R. Gurney's unique theatre piece Love Letters follows the correspondence exchanged over a lifetime between Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner, childhood friends born to wealth and position who go their separate ways and continue to share confidences.
This memorable production features real life husband and wife, Colleen and Rob Horning for the tale of a couple physically apart, but spiritually as close as only true lovers can be. As the evocative, touching and frequently funny letters are read aloud, it becomes clear that what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down.
